Evolution Theatre is seeking an innovative designer that has experience in minimal and impressionistic design with the ability to be creative, inventive and to think “outside-the-box” as well as working within strict budgetary constraints.  

Duties include:

Confers with the play’s director regarding interpretation and set requirements 

Integrates requirements, interpretation, research, design concepts, practical consideration regarding factors such as mobility, interchangeability, and budget  

Gather and assemble necessary materials and equipment

Construct, build, paint and execute design

Coordinate the equipment and the technical crew if necessary.

Must be available to attend all tech and dress rehearsals and available for strike.
