The Evolution begins with you!

From our beginning in January of 2008, Evolution Theatre Company has always been committed to bringing never before seen shows to the Columbus area.  Season after season we have presented and will continue to present area premieres of Broadway and Off-Broadway hits, both recent and not so recent, as well as world premieres of works by established playwrights and new emerging talent.  Our goal is to continue to offer unique, entertaining and thought provoking works while presenting an exceptional theatrical experience for each audience member.  We encourage, develop and nurture new artists so that their voices can be heard.  We encourage audiences to take a chance and have a new theatrical experience and adventure.  We are truly... a new species of theatre!

In addition to our fully staged productions, Evolution Theatre Inc. has instituted other initiatives.  "Edu-tainment" our in-school education through entertainment programs.  "New Works in Development Reading Series" which gives local playwrights the opportunity to hear their work read for the first time before an audience. And periodic playwriting festivals and competitions that offer writers, local and world wide, the opportunity to submit their work for a chance at production. 

We have a passion for theatre!  That you are aware of.  What you may not be aware of, however, is that revenue from ticket sales account for only a fraction of our operating costs.  Like all non-profit arts organization, Evolution Theatre Inc. depends on the generosity and support our patrons in the community to fill the gap.  So, we invite you to be a part of this unique and innovative theatre company by becoming a supporter.

Evolution Theatre Company is a proud member of the Columbus Arts Community and is committed to hiring actors, directors, designers and technicians who live, work or attend a college or university in Central Ohio.

Evolution Theatre Inc. 501(c)(3) application is pending but is expected to be effective as of July 8, 2011.  Any contribution associate with the level of support is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Personal support for the 2012

Names of Season Supporters will be listed in the show program and on our website unless requested not to    

Patrons           $50 to $74(free admission for one to two shows in 2012)

Stage Manager $75 to $124(free admission for one to all three shows in 2012)
Director           $125 to $249 (free admission for two to all three shows in 2012)

Producer          $250 to $499 (free admission for four to all three shows in 2012)
Angel              $500 and above (Special level of support for those individuals who are able to donate $500 or more. For this one time gift, these individuals will forever be listed one our website and in our production programs as Angels of Evolution Theatre Company. They will also receive free admission for two to all shows for life)

Business / Corporate support for the 2012

All business and corporate sponsors will receive recognition both in the show programs and on our website.

Director     $250 to $999 (free admission for two to all three shows in 2012)

Producer    $1,000 to $4,900 (free admission for four to all three shows in 2012 plus a link to your website on our website for one year)

Angel         $5,000 and above (Special level of support for those businesses and corporations who are able to donate $5,000 or more. For this one time gift, these organizations will forever be listed one our website and in our production programs as Angels of Evolution Theatre Company as well as a link to their website on our website. They will also receive free admission for two to all shows for life)
